About PMDA Membership:
Organizational
Vision: PMDA, Pennsylvania’s Association for
Long-Term Care Medicine, will serve as a state leader in enhancing the
healthcare and quality of life for Pennsylvanians across the continuum
of longterm care, through the education of medical directors, physicians,
nurse practitioners and other healthcare team members.
Organizational Mission: PMDA, Pennsylvania’s Association for Long-Term Care Medicine, is the professional organization of medical practitioners who are committed to the continuous improvement of quality care for Pennsylvanians across the long-term care continuum. PMDA will provide advocacy, education and professional development services for medical directors, physicians, nurse practitioners and other healthcare team members. PMDA advances its mission by outreach with other groups involved in long-term care.

Continuing Education: PMDA offers opportunities to advance your medical knowledge and skills through our newsletter, member faxes and e-mails, website, and annual continuing medical education symposium. Members attend the Annual Symposium for a reduced member registration fee.

Public Policy/Advocacy: Membership in PMDA provides the opportunity to strengthen your voice in Harrisburg on matters pertinent to the field of long-term care. PMDA is taking the initiative to represent, educate, and advocate on behalf of physicians who practice in long-term care. PMDA also works collaboratively with AMDA on issues of national importance to long-term care.
